Who We Are Looking For:
AJA Architecture and Planning is seeking applicants for an architectural designer position. Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience and a strong working knowledge of BIM modeling software. We are looking for highly motivated individuals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in architecture or architectural engineering from an NAAB accredited school preferred or associate degree in architectural technology.
3-5 years of professional experience preferred.
Experience with Autodesk Revit, or Graphisoft ArchiCAD
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, and Microsoft Office products.
Working knowledge of general construction practices and methods, experience with construction preferred.
Self-motivated work ethic with a positive team-oriented approach.
Strong communication and writing skills.
Responsibilities
Develop BIM models from hand-drawn sketches.
Developing construction documents.
Preparing architectural presentations.
Time management to meet deadlines.
Ability to work on a project in a team setting.
