Responsibilities
- We are seeking a talented and innovative Architectural Designer to join our dynamic team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and developing architectural designs that meet client specifications while adhering to industry standards.
- This role requires a strong understanding of design principles, technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders throughout the design process.
- We are looking for a licensed Architect or an Architectural Designer who is close to licensure.
- This candidate needs to be able to work within a Design Build Team, heavily involved with the Build Team and knowledgeable and curious about construction.
- We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills.
- Develop detailed architectural designs and schematics using CAD software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and ArchiCAD.
- Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to integrate mechanical design elements into architectural plans.
- Utilize graphic design skills to create visually appealing presentations and project proposals.
- Prepare construction documents and specifications that comply with building codes and regulations.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and ensure designs are feasible within the given environment.
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule.
- Utilize Bluebeam for document management, markups, and collaboration with team members.
- Participate in client meetings to gather requirements, present designs, and incorporate feedback into final plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Valid Architecture License license
- Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and other relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of graphic design principles as they apply to architecture.
- Experience with mechanical design is a plus.
- Ability to create detailed schematics and construction documents that meet industry standards.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
- Strong attention to detail with a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
