Position: Arden Student Associate Primary Supervisor: Arden Student PastorJob Location: Arden, NC Position Type: Full-timeSummary of Position: The Arden Student Associate is responsible to work alongside the Arden student team to provide leadership and discipleship to the 6th- 12th grade students and their families at the Arden Campus.Essential Qualities and Qualifications:

- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalency; college degree and 2 years of relevant experience preferred

Essential Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the Arden Student team in overseeing the spiritual development of the Arden Student Ministry
- Work alongside the Arden Student team with student programming on Sunday mornings as well as Wednesday gatherings, including group leadership, teaching, and the Hi Fi scope and sequence
- Help provide leadership to the equipping and facilitating of the family discipleship model for the Arden Student Ministry
- Work alongside the Arden Student team to recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate student ministry volunteers
- Assist in planning, promoting, implementing major student events throughout the year including Wake Weekend, Camp Week, etc.
- Develop a healthy relationship with parents of students and provide resources on a consistent basis
- Work alongside the Arden Student team in planning and providing activities and outings for students outside of regular student programming
- Implement assimilation strategies through guest follow up and other connection opportunities that arise
- Mobilize students from the Arden campus to be a part of God's mission both locally and global
- Spend time building relationships with students by attending sporting events, plays, band recitals, etc.
- Develop and maintain a healthy relationship with the local schools
- Assist with consistent communication to parents, students, leaders, and the congregation via various platforms
- Attend & actively engage in campus team and central student team meetings.
- Other duties as assigned by the Arden Campus Pastor and Central Student Pastor
