Job Description: To achieve revenue, profit and customer satisfaction goals, by negotiating corporate, extended stay, group and volume account business.
Responsibilities: The Area Hotel Director of Sales is responsible for the planning, direction, budgeting, forecasting, and coordination of assigned Hotel's Sales.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Develop and execute Sales and Marketing plans.
- Direct market channel development activity and coordinate sales distribution by establishing target accounts, quotas, and goals.
- Research, analyze, and monitor financial and demographic factors.
- Plan and monitor Hotel's advertising and promotional activities.
- Meet with key clients, maintain relationships, negotiate and close deals.
- Monitor market response and competitors.
- Responsible for achievement of all property specific financial objectives.
- Develop budget and monitor sales activities.
- 3-5 years sales management experience required; knowledge of general sales techniques, yield management, and customer service skills.
- Participate in local tourism commission, conduct site tours, and train hotel team for all sales opportunities.
