GHW Global has partnered with one of Texas's leading heavy civil General Contractors. They are actively seeking a seasoned leader for their tunneling and trenchless division out of Austin, TX. Our client has an established reputation for excellence in tunneling, microtunneling and shaft construction.

As Area Manager you will:
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and costs to mitigate risks and minimize exposure.
- Ensure timely execution of procurement and proposal development activities.
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, and joint venture partners to manage various project phases.
- Coordinate efforts between all key stakeholders, including the owner, architect, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Regularly monitor and report on construction progress, holding status meetings with clients and consultants as needed.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in developing post-bid work plans, including procurement, scheduling, and cost control strategies.
- Actively engage in production tracking and post-job analysis to improve future project performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Tunneling and or trenchless industry experience minimum of 10+ years preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in planning tunneling and trenchless operations, familiar with risk and mitigation processes.
