Tarantino currently manages over $2 Billion in real estate assets.Tarantino Properties is looking to add an Area Outreach Coordinator to support our Senior Living Communities in the Houston, TX area. This position is responsible for performing outside sales and marketing to achieve referral goals.Essential Functions:
- Schedule, organize and conduct tours with professionals, organizations, groups, senior providers.
- Meet all expectations of meaningful contacts, follow up, and referrals.
- Responds and follow-up with all walk-ins, phone-ins, and emails timely and appropriately.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with professionals, organizations, groups, senior providers.
- Maintains a working knowledge of all software programs, reporting tools, and email.
- Create and maintain a strong community outreach program.
- Media and Marketing Planning Implementation.
- Keep Executive Director and Regional Director of Sales and Marketing informed of all referral activity.
- Keeps informed of all trends, developments, concepts and techniques in his/her field that affect product.
- Understand the need of the senior and the aging process.
- Understand the programs and services that are offered by the Community.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Generate leads from outside referral sources in the professional community through face-to-face sales meetings on an ongoing basis.
- Be available to provide support to the community sales team, by effectively moving prospects through the sales process, when needed.
- Maintain department records and perform administrative functions as requested by the Executive Director.
- Develops an outreach plan with the direction from the entire sales team and Executive Director based on the needs of the community monthly and quarterly
- Understands and effectively communicates the unique value proposition that the community brings to the table amongst other retirement community providers to the referral sources.
- Coordinate referral development activities of all community staff involved in sales activities.
- Completes and updates pre-plan calling sheets and reporting with referral source information and follow up activities.
- Assess referral trends, patterns and efficiencies related to sales activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 2+ years sales and outreach experience in a healthcare context. Outreach to geriatric population a plus.
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
- 1-2 years' experience and/or training, or equivalent of education and experience
- Communication skills: Exceptional public speaking, communication, and customer service skills.
- Energetic, well organized, dependable, flexible, and resourceful.
