Join the Acme Family Area PRODUCTION MANAGER FLSA Status: Exempt Acme Brick Company (a Berkshire Hathaway Company) is an organization of professionals in the manufacturing and building material distribution industry. We manufacture brick and distribute our own brick as well as brick and associated products manufactured by others. We operate in 13 states with a philosophy that we are much more than a brick manufacturer and distributor. Summary We are currently seeking a best in class Area Production Manager with excellent organization skills and a personable disposition. The ability to travel between locations and manage multiple sites will be critical for this position. The ideal candidate will manage production activities of appointed District and have a natural ability to be a team member and leader, being flexible to handle anything that might come their way. You'll be a strong and reliable support to company operations, maintaining procedures, customer service and communication. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned) This is a safety sensitive position. Develop and implements strategic production plans to accommodate region production goals Direct production activities and set performance goals KPI's to meet Cost, Quality, Efficiency and Safety Goals Represents company at trade and industry association meeting to promote product Coordinates liaison between sales and production by having a working knowledge of market conditions Analyzes and control expenditures of district to conform to budgetary requirements Ability to travel between locations and have a flexible work schedule An Area Plant Manager can be responsible for up to 2 plant sites (2 plants at one location would be considered one site such as our facilities in Perla, Ar., Malakoff, Tx. and Elgin Tx.). An Area Plant Manager may manage a facility that has a Plant Manager assigned or without a Plant Manager by utilizing staff to accomplish the Goals of the Plant.
