We're looking for an Area Sales Representative to find new target clients and maintain customer relationships to achieve sales goals. The ideal candidate is a driven outside sales expert with prospecting, presenting, and closing skills. Responsibilities
- Pinpoint and overcome potential obstacles such as competition, pain points, budgets, and timelines by qualifying your prospective customers quickly and thoroughly.
- Move your sales leads and deals through the sales pipeline efficiently while consistently adding new target buyers into the funnel.
- Use your prospecting and follow-up skills with potential customers online, in-person, or on the phone to uncover potential upsells and new clients.
- Close the deal after creating, presenting, and negotiating a solution for your prospects.
- Stay on top of market and industry trends to help educate prospects and clients on how we differentiate ourselves.
- Grow and maintain customer relationships.
- Attend expos and events (golf events, Padres games, happy hours).
- Participate in company sales meetings.
- Follow all company outside sales representative duties.
- Recruit more sales reps.
- Be a team player.
- Master sales conversations.
Qualifications
- Team-focused, organized, and self-starter with an orientation toward service, detail, problem-solving, and deadlines.
- A consistent top performer in sales.
- Prefer a minimum of 2+ years of outside sales experience.
- Exceptional negotiating, interpersonal, presentation, persuasion, and communication skills.
- High school or equivalent diploma required; industry or product knowledge preferred.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Great communication skills.
- Goal-oriented.
- Good first impression with people.
- Must live within the greater San Jose area.
Compensation
$200,000 (salary + commission)
