ABOUT THE ROLEManufacturing-ASR sales staff drive sales helping retailers/communities connect with the Cavco Plant City brands, understand the product offerings, engage in the purchase decision, and facilitate the order and the delivery of the manufactured home.The ASR is accountable for direct to B2B retail sales working with retailers and communities to understand Cavco products and ensure a quality, satisfying sales experience. He/she assists the general manager with sales center inventory, reorder process, training, and review of staff. This role works independently executing process steps, conducting analysis, problem solving and delivering recommendations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Possess strong negotiation skills
- Prospecting to develop new points of distribution (NPD)
- Visit retailers and communities to evaluate needs, promote product, service sales and follow-up.
- Maintain customer records, using automated systems.
- Answer questions about products, prices, availability.
- Quote prices
- Contact new or existing to discuss how specific products or services can meet their needs.
- Emphasize product features, based on analyses of needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.
- Assist in selecting products based on customer needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree (in Marketing or Business preferred) or equivalent relevant, related experience
- Minimum of 2- 5 years related experience with progressive sales responsibilities.
- Strong analytical aptitude
- Problem solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to be creative, strong presentation skills and a self-starter
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Results oriented, attention to detail and good time management skills
