Position Overview: As an area supervisor oversees, grows, and maintains a caseload of members. The Area supervisor ensures excellent service delivery by effectively managing member needs, as well as developing and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders, such as members, guardians/families, DCWs, and funding source personnel. Additionally, the position ensures the tracking and processing of all contractual and licensing regulations including all necessary certifications, data and record keeping and file audits. Key Responsibilities: Attend member's meetings, such as bi-yearly PCSP's and other meetings as necessary Provide referrals and offer supports as member/family needs arise Oversee payroll and billing functions for caseload. Complete payroll processing on schedule. Train DCWs on time and data entry processes in Spokechoice Track and review data (habilitation data, progress monitoring etc.) and all required paperwork Utilize tracking systems to ensure DCWs are in compliance for employment and service delivery. Update managers on denials, reasons for denials, and action needed (if known) Answer phone calls, handle service inquiries, prioritize requests and notify manager, as necessary Handle all concerns and complaints as necessary; complete, document, and communicate resolutions appropriately Attend periodic community events as needed Participate in weekly and other meetings as scheduled Ensure adequate staffing and coverage including emergency coverage is provided as needed Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years experience in field of disability services, education, or related field preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Satisfactory background check
  • Able to acquire and maintain DPS fingerprint card along with CPR & 1st Aid
  • Ability to work with data base and software applications
