Conductix-Wampfler is a progressive, growing manufacturer of mobile electrification products (festoon, slip ring, motor driven cable reels, cord and hose reel systems) looking to add a self-directed, results-oriented, disciplined, detail-oriented, problem solver to the manufacturing team.

The candidate chosen will perform department related production scheduling, inventory management, new/existing personnel training, interview, hire, work with all departments to resolve product and qualityproblems, work with engineering to coordinate change orders, perform depart quality activities, ensure safety compliance and will work directly with sales and vendors on quality issues. The Area Supervisor will strive to continuously improve our business systems.

Qualified candidates will possess experience in the following:

* Worked in an ISO certified quality environment

* Supervision experience a must

* Safety compliance and knowledge of OSHA 10 or 30 a plus

* Must have experience creating written procedures, instructions

* Can actively resolving customer product issues

* Production and inventory scheduling

* SAP a plus

* A.S. in Industrial Technology preferred by not required

* Working knowledge of MS-Office ( Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook) required

SUMMARY - Area Supervisor - Warehouse

Manges and supervises both warehouse materials and personnel in movement and flow of materials in the facility warehouse areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Determines work orders that need to be made to ensure the product is in stock for sales orders.

Reviews pertinent and affected sales orders to ensure materials and inventory needed are available to fulfill order demand.

Reviews production schedules and related information and confers with department supervisors to determine material requirements to identify overdue materials and to track material.

Requisitions MRO materials.

Examines material delivered to production departments to verify conformance to specifications.

Arranges in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules.

Computes the amount of material required to complete job orders.

Compiles and maintains manual or computerized records such as material inventory, in-process production reports, and status and location of materials.

Moves or transports materials from one department to another.

Identifies and submit eMaint maintenance requests for maintenance related warehouse needs.

Monitors and controls the movement of materials and parts.

Understands, supports, implements, and sustains 5S program initiatives and goals.

Supports and upholds the quality and EHS policy.

Supervise, lead, and guide a team of up to 4 team members.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate's degree (A. A.) from two-year college or technical school, or three to four years of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common specific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, internal customers, or members of the business community.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to calculate space, quantities, and size requirements for inventory.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
