Area Support Operative / Mobile Cleaner - evening / nights - Walton-on-Thames area Walton on Thames area, TW17 Service - Surrey & West Sussex Part time Permanent We are looking for a Mobile Cleaner to join our team in the Walton-on-Thames area. As part of our team of key workers you will make sure to keep our sites safe, clean, and hygienic to ensure that the site users have the perfect environment to thrive in. Our Mobile Cleaners, we call them Area Support Operatives, help us cover shifts when someone is off sick or on Annual Leave. Every member of the team is responsible for a different section of the schools or office buildings, where we clean a variety of areas, such as classrooms, offices, hallways and toilets.
Because this position is covering shifts on different sites in the area, cleaning experience is necessary.
**The Job:**
* Job type: perm, part-time
* Hours: from 25 hours per week, usually between 5pm and 5am
* Hourly rate: 11.50 per hour
* Location: Walton-on-Thames area
* The Sites: schools, offices and similar buildings in the area
Note: a full clean UK driving license is needed for this position, you will need to have access to a car. Travel time is paid for.
**Day in the Life of a Mobile Cleaner**
You probably guessed it but hoover and mop will be the most important part of your equipment. But dont worry weve got your back (pun intended): to make your life easier we are using I mops / scrubber dryers on all of our sites.
* every week the Service Manager will let you know your assignments in advance.
* meeting your colleagues and the Site Supervisor every day to decide your tasks for your shift.
* collect your material and PPE from the cleaning cupboard before heading to the area you are responsible for.
* do a high quality clean that you can be proud of and that meets the hygiene specification of the school.
Just remember that every day is different, from cleaning up the remains of a fun science experiment to mopping up the muddy footprints in the hallway on a rainy day.
