Lakeland Joint School District No. 272 Armed District Safety Specialist 2024-25 School Year Lakeland Joint School District is hiring a strong but compassionate safety specialist.. This person must have the ability to build strong positive relationships with students, staff and parents. The ideal candidate should have a strong law enforcement background. Applicants must also have an enhanced concealed weapons permit. Prior to employment, the candidate must pass a polygraph test, psychological evaluations, physical fitness evaluation, and criminal background check. Work schedule will be similar to the school session calendar as well as some training in the summer months. Starting salary will be determined.
