Pay: $21.00/hour

Shift: Saturday and Sunday 0700-1500

The Armed Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Armed Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers and serve as a physical deterrent.

Armed Security Officer Requirements:

* 18 years of age or older

* High School Diploma or GED Required

* Basic Computer skills

* Reliable and self-motivated

* High level customer service

* Valid Driver's License with clean driving record

* Able to patrol for extended periods of time

* IPAT evaluation required

* Must have current Conceal Carry Weapons Permit to apply

* Military, law enforcement or armed security experience

Typical Job Duties:

* Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.

* Responding to emergency situations where rapid and effective judgment, appropriate escalation and use of force may be required.

* Working directly with law enforcement, government staffing and the community.

* Writing detailed incident reports on unauthorized entries, suspicious activity, emergency situations, and any other observed issues.

* Security screening all persons coming through the public entrance to ensure prohibited items are not entering facilities.

* Monitors surveillance cameras. The ability to utilize a tablet, computer, or smartphone.

* Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing and permit requirements for Security Officers
