Job Title: Armed Vehicle Patrol OfficerCompany: Blackwater Public Safety PPO 17627Location: 16029 Arrow Highway, Suite A, Irwindale, CA 91706Job Type: Full-TimePay: Up to $28.00 per hour following completion of probationary period and department reviewSchedule: Night shifts only, 4 days on, 4 days off rotational schedule from 8 PM to 6 AMJob Summary:Blackwater Public Safety (PPO 17627) seeks a dedicated and professional Armed Vehicle Patrol Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-level security services, including patrolling designated areas in a company vehicle, ensuring the safety and security of the property and personnel, and responding to incidents as required.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular vehicle patrols of assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises.- Monitor and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, and security breaches.- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, providing assistance and support as needed.- Maintain a visible and professional presence while on duty.- Enforce company policies and procedures and local, state, and federal laws.- Prepare detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations.- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.- Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and employees.- Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs.Qualifications:- Must possess a current BSIS Guard Card.- Must have a valid Exposed Firearms Permit.- Must have a clean driving record for 5 years- High school diploma or equivalent.- Minimum of 1 year of experience in security or law enforcement preferred.- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Must be at least 21 years of age.- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.Physical Requirements:- Ability to stand, walk, and drive for extended periods.- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.- Must be able to work in various weather conditions.Benefits:- Competitive pay up to $28.00 per hour following the completion of the probationary period and department review.- Health, dental, and vision insurance.- 40 hours of sick pay- 401(k) retirement plan with company match.- Opportunities for career advancement and professional development.Application Process:Interested candidates are encouraged to apply by submitting their resume and a cover letter detailing their qualifications and experience.
