As the Armstrong Support Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and creating a world-class experience for our customers. - Provide pre-and post-order support to key dealers, and to the local sales team.
- Suggest and implement improvements in the sales administration process.
- Setting and tracking sales targets for your team
- Uses computer database to research availability of merchandise. Fills customer orders from stock or prepares transfer from other location.
- Work with sales to take off and submit job quotes.
- Provide technical support to the sales organization, including monitoring shipping, delivery and return status, as required.
- Enter and follow orders until they are successfully delivered to the customer on time.
- Handle incoming customer requests for bids and product information, equipment specifications and applications selections.
- Provide post-sale follow-up and support as required.
- Work with customers, sales, and internal/external suppliers to resolve issues as they arise.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications of the Armstrong Support Manager:
- HVAC background is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good computer skills and common software literacy.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid critical thinking, problem-solving and planning skills.
- Highly motivated self-starter, able to work with minimal direction required from management.
- A working knowledge of residential and commercial products, including replacement configurations, substitutions, and sell-up strategies, is highly desired.
- Exceptional communications skills complete with ability to follow through.
- College degree preferred but not required.
