Join the Army Reserves as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Specialist!
Are you looking for a meaningful way to serve your country while gaining valuable skills? The Army Reserves offers you an exciting opportunity to work one weekend a month and two weeks a year over the summer. We are currently seeking candidates for multiple entry-level CBRN Specialist positions. No prior training or experience is necessary.
Upon qualification, you will attend:
10 weeks of Basic Training 11 weeks of Advanced Individual Training (AIT) Enjoy full-time Army pay and benefits during your training! You'll also have access to over 100 nationally recognized certifications.
As a CBRN Specialist, your role will involve:
- Protecting the nation from CBRN weapons of mass destruction.
- Decontaminating hazardous materials in the event of spills or accidents.
- Utilizing advanced equipment and coordinating defense systems against potential threats.

This is a position within the Army Reserves. To qualify, you must meet the enlistment requirements, which include:
- Age between 17-34 years old.
- Ability to pass a thorough background check (waivers are available on a case-by-case basis).
- Ability to pass a medical examination, including full-panel drug testing.
- Meeting qualifying scores on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery Test (ASVAB).
Required Qualifications:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 17 years or older.
- Successful background check.
- Drug screening eligibility.
- Proficiency in English.
- At least a high school diploma or equivalent.
