The coordinator will create a supportive and inspiring environment that encourages creativity, self-expression, and collaboration among participants. This role involves planning art projects, managing club activities, and fostering a love for the arts. Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Planning: Develop a curriculum that includes a variety of artistic mediums (drawing, painting, sculpture, etc.) and themes to keep students engaged and inspired.
  • Instruction: Teach art techniques and concepts while encouraging individual creativity and artistic growth among club members.
  • Supervision: Oversee student safety and well-being during club sessions, ensuring a respectful and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Materials Management: Organize and manage art supplies and equipment, ensuring resources are available for all activities.
  • Collaboration: Work with school staff, parents, and community partners to promote the art club and participate in school events.
  • Assessment: Monitor student progress and provide feedback on their artistic development. Celebrate achievements through showcases or exhibitions.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain attendance records and prepare reports on student participation and activities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience working with children or youth in an educational or recreational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of various art techniques and mediums.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and parents.
