The Art Director will assist the Senior Director of Branding and Creative Design in executing brand strategy in visual media. Reports to Assistant Vice President of Marketing and Communications. Responsibilities include conceptualizing and implementing cohesive visual design and storytelling initiatives, ensuring consistency to maintain brand integrity. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Creative Design: Assist the Senior Director of Branding and Creative Design in creating dynamic and effective visual and creative elements across all brand touchpoints, including marketing collateral, campaigns, digital platforms and product design.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure consistency in branding elements and messaging across various channels and departments, maintaining brand integrity and recognition.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, communications and other teams to ensure brand initiatives are integrated and support overall business objectives.

Technical Expertise:
- Graphic Design Software: Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or other relevant design tools for creating and editing visual content.
- Understanding of Design Principles: Strong grasp of design principles, including typography, color theory, layout and composition, to guide and critique creative work effectively.
- Brand Management Tools: Familiarity with brand management and collaboration tools that facilitate the organization, sharing and maintenance of brand assets and guidelines.
- Digital Marketing Platforms: Knowledge of digital marketing platforms and tools for online branding, such as social media management tools, content management systems (CMS) and analytics platforms.
- User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Design: Understanding of UX/UI design principles to ensure cohesive and user-friendly experiences across digital platforms and products.
- Print Production Knowledge: Understanding of print production processes, including pre-press requirements, file formats, and specifications for print materials.
- Tech Savviness: Ability to adapt to new technologies and trends, leveraging emerging tools and platforms for innovative branding strategies.
Education/Experience
- A bachelor's degree or associate degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in responsible marketing work.
- Ability to work flexible hours. The ability to travel is required.
- Valid driver license, current insurance, vehicle available.
