- Oversee guidelines, style guides, toolkit development for region
- Uphold overall BLE brand architecture and development
- Uphold consistency of visual ID
- Own the development of net new identities or large refreshes
- Use a high level communication skills with the ability to receive and interpret complex creative briefs, present ideas creatively and effectively
- Proof tactical execution for Senior Designers/Design Team
- Sign off on final assets, both digital and physical (material samples)
Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience in a similar role within a company or agency
- BA/BS degree required. Candidates with a degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Digital Media Design, Visual, Fine or Commercial Arts, Art Design or related field preferred
- Thorough understanding of print and collateral design and production processes and interactive communications and delivery systems as well as industry best practices required
- Strong understanding of client communication
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong operating knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Manage Figma, ADOBE CS, creative workflow alongside PMs (sharing brand assets with external vendors)
- Working knowledge of Asana and Google Drive is a plus
- Knowledge of print production and digital prepress processes desired
- Strong track record both as an individual contributor and as a key member of a team
- A flair for delivering visual concepts in the context of defined strategies and copy approaches
- Industrial and environmental design experience, knowledge of motion graphics and interaction design, skills in art direction and experience directing shoots, are all a plus
- Experience with Asana is a plus
- A strong sense of style, excellent skills in typography, photography, and video
- A 360-degree integrated mindset to create and rollout multi-channel campaigns in partnership with copywriting resources and other art directors globally
- Experience in the design and art direction of large-scale branding efforts, cohesive campaigns, and content marketing
- Experience working within a defined but dynamic visual/brand system
- Strong digital design skills and experience working on digital marketing, website development, mobile web, mobile apps, and micro content
- An understanding of current digital design and UX/UI best practices
- Comfort in working closely with developers and printers in seeing complicated jobs through production
- Experience working in a global organization is a plus
- A portfolio and website examples that demonstrate comprehensive understanding of type, photography, digital, and color management
- Experience with working on in-person experiential events and marketing campaigns to promote and generate audience engagement leading up to the event
