Art Director Intro We are seeking a talented and experienced Art Director to join our client's team in a hybrid role based in Austin, TX. This position requires a creative individual with a strong portfolio and a background in working with major brands in digital, animation, and video. You will work closely with a writing partner and cross-functional teams to develop strategic storylines and direct animators and video editors. A BFA degree in Design or equivalent is required, along with excellent communication skills.Art Director Job Details This role will primarily be working on art direction of customizable animations and videos. You'll collaborate closely with a writing partner to develop strategic storylines and direct animators and video editors to create a final product in a customizable video platform like Sunday Sky.•Close partnership with a writer for all projects•Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Animators, Video editors, UX and Writers).•Excellent interpersonal, communications and organizational skills.•Strong client-facing experience and presentation skills.•Self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with ability and experience to manage many projects simultaneously.•Ability to work on large-scale digital projects, tight deadlines, and high volume of work with geographically dispersed teams.Art Director - Mid-Level Mandatory Skills - Expert in Adobe Creative Suite - Knowledge of Figma - Experience with storyboarding for animation & video - Experience using illustration to create storyboards - Experience working with major brands in digital, animation & video - Ability to work within brand guidelines - Strong client-facing experience and presentation skills - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills - Self-motivated with strong time management skills Art Director - Mid-Level Desired Skills - Understanding of web technologies, emerging design trends, and mobile platforms - Experience manipulating existing illustrations to create new work - Experience collaborating with animators and editors for animation and editing direction - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines Art Director - Mid-Level Start Date Anticipated Start Date: January 13, 2025 Art Director - Mid-Level Location Austin, Texas, United States (Hybrid role: Onsite Mon, Wed, Thurs)
