Position OverviewWe are looking for a creative and experienced Art Director / Sr Designer to lead our design team and oversee the visual aspects of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in art and graphic design, with a passion for creating compelling visuals that resonate with our audience. This role is 40 hours/week, hybrid in their San Francisco office, onsite 2-3 days/week. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design team in creating innovative and visually appealing designs for various projects.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and execute brand strategies and visual identity.
- Design and produce high-quality graphics for digital and print platforms.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers to foster professional growth and development.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure our designs are contemporary and relevant.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Art, Graphic Design, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in art direction or graphic design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in brand design and visual design.
- Experience in publishing and digital design is a plus.
- Ability to understand and design for the female demographic is preferred.
