Azimuth Corporation is seeking an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer to join our MacDill AFB, FL team in support of a government customer. The ideal candidate will build advanced AI/ML models to integrate with existing architecture and framework and deliver algorithms for predictive analytics, prescriptive analytics, forecasting and free text query in an AI/ML Decision Support Tool. Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Build AI models using machine learning algorithms and deep learning neural networks to integrate with Command Common Operating Picture data repository to enable logisticians decision-making in near real time
- Work with the Command Staff to ensure AI/ML workflows include Cyber, Knowledge and Information Management disciplines to enable the Decision-Making Process
- Build predictive models using vast volumes of data and have in- depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms, deep learning algorithms and frameworks
- Build data ingestion and data transformation infrastructure to interface with the data repository application program interfaces (API) and build AI/ML models to enterprise standards for data sharing with joint enterprise systems.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in a highly quantitative field (Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operational Research, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.)
- Experience in lieu of a degree will be considered (professional/military).
- 8+ years of industry experience in predictive modeling, data science, and analysis.
- Knowledge of and experience working with LOGCOP
- Active DOD Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
Physical Requirements / Travel
- Must be able to work in an office environment at a desk and computer.
- May travel ~10% to conferences, program reviews, industry meetings, or other collaborative events. Most or all travel would be CONUS.
