Job Description:Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking an Artificial Lift Technician for the South Delaware Basin (Reeves, Ward, Winkler counties) office in Pecos, TX. Reporting to the Field Engineering Lead, this position will be responsible for optimizing production through installation, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting artificial lift.General Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and optimize artificial lift systems, including but not limited to electric submersible pumps (ESP), gas lift systems, rod pumps, and hydraulic pumping units, to maximize oil and gas production from wells.
  • Responsible for regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs of artificial lift equipment to ensure performance.
  • Monitor well performance and production parameters, including flow rates, pressure, temperature, and fluid levels, to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with production operations, engineers to ensure to the performance of artificial lift equipment.
  • Provide technical support, training, and guidance to production operators and field personnel on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of artificial lift equipment and systems.
  • Ad hoc projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Artificial Lift Technician or in a similar role within the oil and gas industry, with hands-on experience in the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of artificial lift systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge of artificial lift technologies, including ESP, gas lift, rod pumping, and hydraulic pumping systems, as well as surface equipment such as motors, controllers, and surface pumps.
  • Familiarity with production operations, including optimization techniques in the industry.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various well sites and facilities as needed.
