: Job Details :

Job Functions:* Set up station according to restaurant guidelines.* Prepare all food items for the daily menu and specials in a sanitary and timely manner.* Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant.* Ability to read and interpret abbreviations on food order tickets.* Responsible for the correct food presentation of each plated item.* Restock items as needed throughout shift.* Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety, sanitation, organizational skills.* Serves food items to guests as requested.* Ensures thorough communication between shifts.* Remains up to date on all Departmental Policies and Procedures.* Understands that schedules are subject to change.* Complies with all departmental rules, side work assignments, and departmental procedures.* Breaking down and storing of daily food and supply deliveries.* Ensures proper FIFO procedures are followed when storing daily deliveries.* Performs all other duties as assigned.Job Requirements:* One to two years related experience is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.* Must possess thorough knowledge of Asian cooking (Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Vietnamese)* Commitment to excellence, high standards, and good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.* Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.* Ensures that all guests are treated in a prompt, professional and courteous manner* Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and team members.* Possesses the ability to work under pressure and with a sense of urgency.* Must possess a cooperative, helpful and friendly nature, and present a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance.* Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays. Understands that schedules are subject to change.* Frequent walking, sitting, standing, bending, twisting, lifting, and kneeling.* The Team Member must frequently lift, push, pull up to 25 pounds.* Ability to work within the following conditions: wet floors, temperature extremes, and loud noise.Prior experience is preferred as well as a proven track record demonstrating sound judgment
