The Sally J. Pimentel Deaf & Hard of Hearing Center is seeking a visionary and dynamic individual to join the nonprofit agency as a Deaf Mentor in the Fort Myers area. (Agency serves five counties)
Principal Duties
As a Deaf Mentor you will:
The Ideal Candidate:
· Must be deaf.
· Must have advanced American Sign Language (ASL) skills and have knowledge of Deaf culture.
· Must be knowledgeable in latest assistive technology including apps
· Must be positive, team-oriented, self-motivated, dependable, adaptable, and must possess strong work ethic.

Work Environment
This is a Part-Time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Occasionally, flexibility is needed to meet client's needs; working evenings, weekends alternative hours required as job duties demand.
