You will play a crucial role in preparing surfaces for asphalt paving and ensuring the quality of the final product.Requirements:Must be able to travel throughout Minnesota, North and South Dakota.Regular, consistent attendance and regular overtime at all assigned job sites.Valid Drivers License, preferably Class A.Acceptable motor vehicle record.Previous experience operating asphalt milling equipment is preferred.Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.Physical strength and endurance to perform all principal duties and responsibilitiesResponsibilities:Operate asphalt milling machines and related equipment to remove old asphalt layers and prepare surfaces for repaving.Follow all safety protocols, procedures, and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.Perform routine maintenance tasks on milling equipment, such as greasing, cleaning, and minor repairs, to ensure optimal performance.Monitor the milling process to ensure that the depth and width of the milling cut meet project specifications and quality standards.Assist in the transportation milling machine as needed.Collaborate with the milling crew and other team members to coordinate work activities and ensure efficient project execution.Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, work performed, and any issues encountered during milling operations.Benefits:Group Health InsuranceVisionDental401(k) Retirement Savings Plan401 (k) Company Match401(k) Company Discretionary ContributionFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Health Reimbursement Account (HRA)Per diemElectronic Direct DepositWe value a diverse workplace and believe it enhances our company culture and the services we provide.Qualified female, minority, veteran and disabled applicants are encouraged to apply.
