Understand, read and interpret blueprints Loctite/torque specs assembly

Ability to safely use manual or hand power tools to successfully assemble equipment

Maintain a Clean Work Environment

Minimize Clutter

Trip hazards are cleaned up

Ground is dry and free of scrap and metal particles

Keep Workstations/Tools Clean and Organized in a Lean 5S Program

Sort - Separating tools, parts and instructions

Set In Order - Organizing tools, parts and instructions neatly; identify for ease of use

Shine - Clean up work area with chemical products and sweeping

Standardize - Regular cleaning and maintenance

Sustain - Make this process habitual and a part of everyday

Maintain A Good Attendance Record

Following the schedule provided by the supervisor

Have good communication with supervisor regarding planned time off and unplanned time off

RequirementsKnowledge, Skills, and Experience Requirements:

Industry experience is preferred

Strong Mechanical Aptitude is necessary

Ability to work in a team environment

Ability to operate hand jack/pallet truck etc.

Ability to operate cranes, jib cranes and hoists

Physical Demands:

Must be able to remain in a standing position for most of the time

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently

Must be able to work in a production environment

Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively

Mental Demands:

Ability to work at a steady pace

Ability to use measuring tools and calibration requirements

Ability to perform basic arithmetic

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Working Conditions:

Adheres to the time and attendance requirements as established by the department supervisor.

Conditions will vary from office to production environments

Overtime as required and/or needed

Salary Description $20 - $25 / hour based on experience
