As we Serve with Integrity - Collaborate with Humility - Grow with Agility - Innovate with Impact.The Opportunity ...As our Temporary Assembler- you will report to the Production Supervisor* Assemble components* Use measuring instruments to ensure fit of components* Perform self-inspection and test of equipment* Report raw materials and inventory used in assembly* Look for defects and report any issues to shop lead* Meet all monthly safety requirements as established by the HSE Department* Attend all required site Safety Training sessions or complete and submit make-up materials to HSE.* This position is considered a safety sensitive position; thus, employee may be subjected to randomized drug testing.PHYSICAL DEMANDS* Work 8+ hours per day, 6 days a week for 12 months* Work around moving industrial machinery* Lift parts or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs* Stoop, crouch, reaching, walking and standing for entire shift* Receive and convey detailed instructions* Apply pressure to an object with fingers and palm and perceiving the texture of parts* Work around exposure to machinery noise, coolants and oils, and fumes from associated flammable aerosol products, metal turnings, sharp metal edges, and moving machinery* Work in moderate to extreme heat or cold* Handle moderate stress to complete work due to time constraints* Step up/down material handling equipment (forklift truck)MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS* High school diploma or equivalent* 2 years of trades training or one year experience with multiple part assemblies* Experience of blueprints and layout work* Work from detailed assembly, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical drawings* Use shop arithmetic including decimals and fractions* Use judgment to perform and make decisions as to the sequence of setups and operations within the limitations of recognized or standard methods and procedures* Must have basic tools of tradeFavored REQUIREMENTS* Experience of assembly working in mechanical and electrical assembly processes.Why work at JBT ...* We are committed to our employees and will provide you with development and opportunities to allow you to be the best version of yourself at work, at home, and in your community.* We foster a genuine inclusive team culture enjoying collaborative working across our global teams to deliver world-class projects.* We encourage development - ensuring new experiences and challenges at JBT to feed your growth!Benefits: JBT Corporation offers benefits on day 1 of your employment.
