You will be responsible for assembly, wiring, minor fabrication, and any other tasks relevant to the department. Beyond installation activities you will be responsible for safety, training, parts inventory, lean/5S practices, quality, and the potential interaction with customers.What you need to be successful:Must be able to follow instructions (both verbal & written), fluent in advanced print reading with limited information, work individually and in a team setting, and have basic computer skills.Proficient in the use of a variety of hand and power tools.Preferred 12 Volt electrical experience.Preferred 120 Volt experience.Ability to read a tape measure.Understand and uphold Quality Assurance standards.Must be flexible to work any shift as needed and weekends with minimum notice.Ability to read and interpret build orders, CSO's, and RFO options.Ability to read blueprints and CAD drawings.Basic Plumbing (PEX, PVC) is a plus.Aluminum and steel welding experience (TIG or MIG) is a plus.Job Classification: B-1, 2, or 3 (dependent on experience)Why The Shyft Group?We believe that when our people thrive personally and professionally, our business thrives.
