Job Description:
Job Title: AssemblerDepartment: Assembly Accountability: This position reports to the Assembly Team Lead Responsibilities:
  • Irrespective of any other responsibilities, initiate action to prevent product nonconformity, identify or record quality problems, and assemble products to print with exceptional quality.
  • Support the vision, mission, and guiding principles of the company.
  • Meet daily production output requirements.
  • Lift and move parts as required for assembly.
  • Assemble products per work instructions.
  • PCB assembly.
  • Use basic assembly tools, i.e. torque wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, wire cutters, ty-wrap guns, etc.
  • Actively promote teamwork.
  • Participate in all team activities.
  • Support Teaming structure and SQCDMM.
  • Work and interact with other production teams as-needed to line balance and accommodate overload work conditions (Cross train).
  • Train to team training register using Situational Leadership worksheet.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Must have High School Diploma or equivalent, technical certification
  • Best assembly practices
  • Soldering
  • Operate wave solder machine.
  • Operate conformal coating machine
  • Mechanical assembly\use wrenches, torque wrenches, screw drivers, crimpers
  • Computer skills, (Glovia, e-mail, POURS, Word, Excel)
  • ESD protection
  • PCB Print and / or work instructions
  • Prep components -Operate Lead Trimmers, component prep machines, and FET benders
  • Understand resistor color codes
Work Environment - Manufacturing / Physical Demands:
  • Machinery
  • Chemicals, (See SDS)
  • Dust
  • Noise
  • Lift 50 lbs
  • Bending, stretching, climbing ladders, climbing stairs, must be mobile
  • Standing for long periods
  • Work at computer terminal
  • Box/ Package units
  • Use hand jack to move pallets
  • Protective clothing and equipment may be required
