Our growing company is seeking to hire an Assembler. As an employee at MEC, you are responsible by assembling parts and subassemblies for OEM products. A role like this comes with some important responsibilities, some of those responsibilities include:Work from assembly drawings and specifications Assembles parts with the aid of verbal instructions, print(s) or sample parts. Uses various types of riveting devices, hand tools, air guns and power devices to assemble parts. Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements. Checks parts for quality and accuracy using basic inspection devices such as micrometers, verniers, scales, squares and gages. Assembles prototypes with Engineering help. Inspects parts for various types of cosmetic specifications. Where required, must achieve certification in riveting. Must be able to assemble at every station and process on the assembly line.
