It's a great time to be a part of ZOLL!Job SummaryPerforms a wide variety of electromechanical production subassembly and assembly operations of a semi-skilled nature to disassemble and assemble difficult and complex units in a repetitive environment.Essential FunctionsDisassembles, modifies, reworks, refurbishes and tests units as required.Identify and selects components to be integrated into subassembly and assembly unitsOperate basic electronic test equipment such as volt meters Hipot and leakageAssembles and/ or installs various electrical and/or mechanical components where operations and sequences are specified by established documentation.May perform routine tasks in preparation for assembly such as cutting wire to specified size, stripping, tinning, or bending wire parts, wiring, and fastening terminal connections.Set up and operates automatic and semiautomatic assembly equipment Provide training for less senior staffRequired/Preferred Education and ExperienceHigh School Trade School Graduate or equivalent requiredGenerally, at least 3 years of related experience required andQSR experience a plus preferredIPC Soldering Certification a plus PreferredKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesMust be able to read and understand assembly documentation, blueprints and/or wire lists.Must be able to use small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers and pliers.Must be familiar with general computer operation.Preferred LanguagesEnglish - IntermediatePhysical DemandsMust be able to lift 35 poundsZOLL is a fast-growing company that operates in more than 140 countries around the world.
