- Intermediate blueprint reading
- Ability to assembly and knowledge of the functions of major component parts and sub-assemblies within an assigned area
- Basic knowledge of electrical schematics
- Ability to maintain published productivity standards on moderately challenging assemblies
- Sound working knowledge of all related test equipment and its purposes
- Maintain high quality standards (meet the departments published quality rating)
- Maintain safe work areas and practice safe work habits
- Conform to all policies, procedures and rules of conduct as communicated through the Associate Handbook, Bulletin Boards, Newsletters and any other vehicle by which information is distributed by STERIS@ Management
- Ability to assemble based on knowledge of the functions of major component parts and sub-assemblies within an assigned area
- Use and understand torque wrenches and test equipment and troubleshoot
- Maintain published productivity standards on moderately challenging assemblies by utilizing a traveler, blueprint and standard work
- Maintain high quality standards (meet the departments published quality rating)
- Maintain safe work areas and practice safe work habits
- Apply 5S tools to include the T-card system
Education Degree
- High School Diploma or GED
Required Experience
- Ability to perform basic Shop Floor Control applications.
- AS400 preferred but not required.
- High school education or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
- Ability to understand and follow work instructions, both written and oral.
- Ability to adapt to conditions as dictated by business requirements.
- Ability to work with others.
