SAVING LIVES WITH INNOVATIVE SENSING SOLUTIONS Apollo America Inc., a subsidiary of Halma plc and a global manufacturer of life-saving detection devices, is seeking General Assemblers for 1st shift. This position is vital to our production team, ensuring that production quotas are met promptly while upholding the highest safety and quality standards. Our products save lives and protect millions of building occupants worldwide. This role will report directly to the Shift Lead, Production Supervisor and Residential Business Unit Manager. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy.
  • Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently.
  • Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Complete packaging tasks such as box assembly, packing, and taping.
  • Operate machinery correctly and maintain it with care.
  • Report any machinery issues to management.
  • Work cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goals.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management.
  • Follow all written and verbal instructions.
  • Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude.
  • Able to work overtime as needed, including nights and weekends.
Experience, Skills, and Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0-2 years of experience working within an assembly environment.
  • Must be able to work 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM Monday-Friday.
  • Must be available for nights and weekends/occasional overtime.
  • Basic computer, math, reading, and writing skills.
  • Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, and reaching.
