Job DetailsLevel: EntryJob Location: Cleaveland Price - Trafford, PAPosition Type: Full TimeEducation Level: NoneSalary Range: UndisclosedTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: 1st ShiftJob Category: Entry LevelDescriptionAssembler* Assembles a variety of products or sub-assembliesof various sizes and weighted parts following standard procedures.* Operates on Second Shift (1:30pm-12:00am)Essential Functions* Comprehends work order by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists.* Prepares for work by gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.* Helps ensure parts and materials are available to others by only removing from inventory what is needed for the immediate task at hand. Replenishes stock when quantities appear to be low.* Assembles a variety of products or sub-assemblies with the use of standard procedures.* May perform electrical, mechanical connections/assembly.* Regularly utilizes hand tools and/or power tools, depending on task.* Work may require filing, grinding and/or adjusting parts as needed.* Refers to drawings, diagrams, or blueprints as guides for performing assembly tasks.* Follows all instructions and requirements, ensuring quality standards are met.* Verifies specifications by measuring completed component and ensuring accuracy in work.* Performs Quality Control Inspections to ensure quality requirements are met.* Resolve assembly and production issues.* Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs as needed on equipment and tools.* Report errors in product line, drawings and assemblies.* Complete preventive maintenance as well as TPM Audits.* Keeps accurate production and quality records, and documents work procedures.* Ensures work practices are compliant with all OSHA and ISO standards.* Ensures proper utilization of required PPE and task-specific tools and equipment to ensure the highest level of safety for self and others.* Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.* Follows all company and job-specific safety rules and regulations.* Performs other related duties as assigned.Qualifications/RequirementsQualifications* High school diploma or equivalent.* At least one year experience in manufacturing or related field preferred.* Specialized electrical knowledge, based on specific task.* Ability to operate fixtures and assemblies.* Fork truck and/or crane certification a plus.* Ability to demonstrate required proficiency level/competency to successfully perform job.Physical Requirements* Standing and Walking-prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the production area. You should be able to remain on your feet for extended periods and move around the facility as needed.* Lifting and Carrying-The job may involve lifting and carrying heavy equipment, components, and materials. You should be capable of lifting weights up to 25 pounds without assistance and safely maneuvering them to the designated areas.* Manual Dexterity: tasks often involve working with small tools, fasteners, and intricate components. Excellent manual dexterity is essential for tasks such as assembling, wiring, and adjusting equipment. You should be able to manipulate small objects with precision.* Repetitive tasks: Stamina for activities such as bending, twisting, reaching, and operating machinery, for extended periods.* Fine Motor Skills: Accurate manipulation of small parts, precise measurements, and intricate wiring require good fine motor skills. Your ability to perform delicate tasks with precision is essential for maintaining product quality standards.* Visual Acuity: Good vision is necessary for identifying and inspecting small details, labels, and markings on components and equipment. You should have clear vision, either naturally or with the aid of corrective lenses, to ensure accurate assembly and quality control.* Physical Agility: The environment may require regular bending, stooping, or kneeling, to access work areas or equipment. You should have the physical agility to perform these movements safely and comfortably.* Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Cleaveland/Price prioritizes safety in the workplace.
