Nesco Resource is currently sourcing for Assemblers for an automotive seat manufacturing company in Clinton Township, MI.Pay rate : $16.00 an hourShift: 2:30pm- 11:00pm Monday through Friday (Overtime based upon production needs).SummaryThis Automotive Company is a global leader in performance and comfort automotive seating. From complete seating systems to individual components, our expertise spans every step of the automotive seat-making process. Our integrated, in-house skills allow us to take our products from research and design all the way to engineering and manufacturing.Seat Assemblers help assemble the seat by using various tools and technology.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complete assembly of automotive seating units for commercial vehicles, aftermarkets, and OEM's.
  • Develop proficiency in all production job functions and rotate in job cell into various workstations.
  • Control processing, delivery, or installation of nonconforming product until deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
  • Maintain good housekeeping, safety, meet quality and efficiency standards.
  • Restock work areas as needed to ensure proper workflow.
  • Monitor production material quantities and report shortages.
  • Ability to lift and/or carry 50 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Complete, assembly of quality seating units.
  • Walk, stand, reach, lift, bend, pull, push to move product through build process.
  • Use of hand-held pneumatic tools.
  • Operation of assembly fixtures.
  • Housekeeping in and around work areas.
  • Problem solving of workplace issues.
  • Quality inspections of work in progress.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure on-time quality product to our customers (internal and external).
  • Incorporate safe working procedures into all daily activities in and around facility.
  • Understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Comply with company rules, policies, and practices.
  • Understand Statistical Process Control and maintain charting as required.
  • Authority and responsibility to stop the production line should a safety or quality issue appear.
  • Abide by all HSE&E requirements.

  • Other tasks as assigned by supervisor or any other member of management
