AssemblerPosition Overview: An Assembler reads and interpretsschematic drawings, blueprints, and diagrams to assemble electronic componentsaccording to product specifications. Supports production and efficient machineoperation under direct supervision. Familiar with standard assembly concepts,practices, and procedures. Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, inspect, and test precision semiconductor assemblies and raw components as instructed.
  • Follow documented procedures and provide immediate feedback when there is uncertainty.
  • Meeting daily production rate and communicating production output. Addresses issues immediately when production is at risk.
  • Verifies dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to blueprint specifications, using instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
  • Assures calibrated equipment is being used as required and notifies the appropriate Engineer if it is not.
  • Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Key Competencies & Skills required:
  • Experience in hand soldering, manually placing small parts or components onto an electrical assembly. Wire bonding experience is a plus.
  • Familiar with following travelers and standard operating procedures and follows basics of assembly drawings under direct supervision.
  • Experience using microscopes to inspect products and ensure the highest standard of quality.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
  • High School degree.
  • 2 years related work experience preferred, but will hire the right attitude and train.
  • Due to ITAR regulations, candidates must be a USCitizen or Permanent Resident
