Our sales team is trainedacross all of our products to give our customers insights into our entireportfolio.Assembler 5MACOM is seeking a self-motivated, enthusiasticassembly operator to join and contribute to our growing prototype linedeveloping breakthrough high power RF devices. The position will report into MACOM'sMMIC Engineering team and will be responsible for carrying out assemblyoperations and contributing to the delivery of next generationprototypes. Essential Functions
- Assemble PC boards for engineering evaluation for Microwave components.
- Process work through the assembly line as indicated per travelers, drawings or work instructions.
- Perform optical inspections of products to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Enter pertinent data into log files for appropriate lot and data tracking.
- Ensure work areas stay clean and organized.
- Provide feedback to engineering teams on equipment, product or process issues/improvements.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years experience in hand soldering, manually placing components.
- Wire bonding experience a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to follow travelers and work instructions as well as under basics of assembly drawings.
- Take verbal requests from Engineers and Technicians.
- Experience using microscopes to inspect products and ensure the highest standard of quality.
- Excellent hands-on cleanroom skills and demonstrated ability to carry out defined tasks independently with minimum supervision.
- Computer skill with experience using MS Office programs as well as manufacturing execution systems for lot tracking.
- Ability to work as part of a larger team.
- Fluent in written English.
- Motivated and willing to work hard to help the department and company reach objectives on time.
