GREAT PLACE TO WORK CERTIFIED APRIL 2024 - APRIL 2025 JOB OVERVIEWJOB TITLE ASSEMBLER A LOCATION PLANT REPORTS TO SUPERVISOR JOB DESCRIPTION Performs repetitive bench or line assembly operations to produce metal products by performing the following duties: places parts in proper order to assemble the product based on specifications; bolts, clips, screws, cements, and fastens parts together; and performs specific tests to insure product is functioning properly for both electric and gas equipment models. This description is not all inclusive of tasks / duties and may be modified at any given time by management. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions; and procedure manuals. Also wright simple correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and common fractions
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized
- Able to accurately read a tape measure for precise measurements
- Some Computer literacy (in some departments)
- Can maintain focus regardless of the environment activities
- Organized and able to maintain safe and clean work area
- Follow instructions; ask questions when unsure
- Use small hand tools
- Attention to detail; ability to ensure quality of product before it leaves your area
- Excellent eye-hand coordination
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
EDUCATION & TRAINING
- High School diploma or equivalent
- No previous experience, but ability to learn easily within a specified time frame
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Experience working with small tools (drills, saws, etc.)
- Understands principles of Safety in the Work place
- Laborer, warehouse, assembly line work previously is a plus
WORKING CONDITIONSWORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Must have good eyesight, including depth perception, peripheral vision and the ability to differentiate between colors. Employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift and /or move up to 50 lbs. Also performing these duties of this job the employee is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level is usually moderate.
