FAAC International, the leader in the automated systems industry and in the control of vehicular access for residential and commercial applications, is looking for experienced or inexperienced Assemblers that are looking to learn a trade. In this role, you will be responsible for putting together parts or pieces, adhering to a specified set of blueprints or schematics. You will be expected to perform quality work within deadlines, with or without direct supervision. Interacting professionally with colleagues, customers, and suppliers professionally and courteously.

**Responsibilities and Duties Include but are not limited to:**

* Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and part lists; gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials

* Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements

* Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassembly.

* Verify specifications by measuring completed component

* Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources

* Keep equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance requirements; following manufacturers instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs

* Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

* Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expedite orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies

* Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results

* Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

* Must be able to complete the required amount of work needed daily

**Requirements:**

* High School Diploma or GED

* 1-3 years of prior experience in a manufacturing environment - will consider and train the right candidate

* Ability to read and understand diagrams, blueprints, and schematics

* Ability to install components, units, or subassemblies using power tools and related assembly equipment

* Ability to perform repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods and lift 30-50 pounds

* Must be knowledgeable of safety procedures and requirements

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a teamwork environment

* Punctual, reliable, and responsible
