Assembler needed for a contract to hire opportunity with SOC's client to work onsite in Amityville, NY.1st Shift (6 AM - 3:30 PM;6 AM - 2:30 pm on Friday) 2nd Shift 9/80 (2:30PM-12:00AM)Required skills:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment.
- Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents.
- Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
- Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
