The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of electrical systems, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. As an Electrical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and testing electrical components and systems according to engineering specifications and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Assemble electrical components and subassemblies using hand tools and power tools.
- Install wiring, conduit, and electrical components into assemblies and enclosures.
- Test electrical assemblies and systems for proper functionality and safety.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical assemblies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in electrical assembly or a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with electrical components, wiring techniques, and assembly procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Willingness to work hours outside of the standard schedule as needed, with appropriate notice when possible.
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
