Description

Leidos has an opening for an Assembler - Electro-Mechanical to work in Ladson, SC. The assembler will be responsible for rapidly manufacturing sub-assemblies and finished systems, including cables, harnesses, panels, and mechanical assemblies. They will need to comprehend assembly documentation, utilize required tools, and maintain workspace cleanliness. The ideal candidate should have 1+ years' experience in manufacturing or research and development, ESD awareness, and average computer skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assemble various sub-assemblies
• Read and interpret work instructions
• Install components per assembly documentation
• Utilize basic hand and power tools
• Conduct quality checks and maintain workspace cleanliness

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ years' experience in manufacturing or research and development
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
• ESD Awareness
