Job Description:Final Assembler is responsible for mechanical and electrical assembly/integration of materials, devices, and products in accordance with drawings, SOPs, and other written documentationDuties:
- Assembles products or sub-assemblies by following drawings, diagrams, or work instructions.
- Operates hand and power tools and production equipment to build specified product.
- He/She is responsible for mechanical and electrical assembly of systems or products as well as maintaining general tools and equipment.
- Prioritizes work according to verbal direction, or by following the Production Schedule and works towards customer ship dates and internal goals.
- Communicates with team members, engineering, sales, and other departments within the company to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize is a must.
- Demonstrates strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Conforms with ESD policy and safety procedures.
- The goal for this individual is to have zero OBF's to the performance of their job function.
Requires:Education: High School degree or equivalent required. Associates degree in computer hardware related field preferred.Experience: Three years of experience in hardware field. Ability to build a computer from the ground -up is helpful.Physical: Walks, stands, occasional seated position at the computer.
