Assembler - 2nd Shift Temp to Hire Duties and Responsibilities: Performs any assembly type functions, using hand tools, mechanical equipment and/or measuring equipmentReads, references and interprets written and verbal instructions; always following established standard proceduresMaintains established production levels and quality standardsVisually or through the use of a microscope, inspect various conditions of unassembled/assembled bearingsRecognize and report any irregularities as to fits, defective parts, finishes, work techniques and/or quality of workmanshipMaintains necessary records; work is subject to audited inspectionsHandle parts according to established proceduresAssist with training of operators and new personnel, as requiredFollow all prescribed safety rules and regulationsKeep work area clean and orderlyPerforms related duties as assigned by leadershipEducation:High School diploma or equivalentExperience:Demonstrated work history; experience in assembling components a plusJob Skills:Must gain proficiency in a minimum of one (1) functional area of Assembly such as ball assembly, gaging, retainer assembly, etc. Ability to read and understand complex written and verbal instructions in EnglishGood manual and concentrated visual attention dexterity skillsAbilities:Able to be flexible and respond to the changing needs of the organizationAbility to wear clean room uniform including mask; excess jewelry not permitted, limited make up permittedOther Requirements:Note: Physical job requirements may include standing, use of hands to assemble and or carry out job functions as well as sitting, lifting, carrying, bending and stooping during the course of the job.Ability to lift 40 lbs.Pay Range: $17.75/hr DOE Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.
