Job Description:
- Under general supervision, assembles components that may include sub-assemblies, manual components and electrical components and all other related components to contribute to completion of a variety of products. Adheres to safety, quality and quantity standards and follows directions and blueprints to meet product specifications
- Ability to read and understand procedures, safety sheets, instructions, and policies in English.
- Ability to carry out verbal instructions and communicate verbally in English.
- Ability to adhere to safety related issues to include, but not limited to good housekeeping and ergonomics practices.
- May be required to have workplace organization and follow training procedures. Including cross training and teamwork.
- Repetitive nature – stamina to do the work.
- Attention to detail.
- Propensity to speak up when and if an issue occurs, notice it and bring it up.
- Ability to learn new processes, systems and equipment.
- Requires ability to lift/carry 10-50 lbs. on a frequent basis depending on site and product line, may rarely lift/carry 50-75 lbs.
- Job demands include prolonged stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing and/or crawling as appropriate.
- May be required to reach, push or pull in order to accomplish job accountabilities.
