Here at Brunswick Fort Wayne, it's more than just a pontoon boat; it's a way of life!Essential Functions:Must possess the desire and ambition to work safely at all times, and report all hazards to their Supervisor immediatelyAbility to understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Engineering PrintsVisually inspect and/or audit units for quality. Discuss quality issues with lead or supervisor to resolve problems.Use a variety of electric and pneumatic hand toolsSeek positive solutions to issues and problemsMust be able to complete work within takt timeKeep work area clean and organizedMaintain a high standard of conduct and comply with company policies and proceduresPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment where designated, including but not limited to: safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, sleeves, etc.Must be flexible to work extended hours to support the requirements of the businessExperience using basic hand and small power tools including drill, saws, sanders, measuring tape, level, etc.Must be able to read a blueprintPrevious manufacturing and/or machinery experience preferredMust be able to communicate and work in a team environmentDemonstrate basic computer skillsPhysical Demands/Work Environment:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently standing and lifting heavy objects weighing 50 to 100 pounds. The employee is constantly walking, pushing/pulling, reaching, and climbing stairs. The employee is occasionally squatting, kneeling, and using fine hand movements such as tightening screws, bolts, and securing pins. Specific vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
