Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Assembler I. The core hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The hourly rate for this position is $16.25 per hour.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you'll do:This position is responsible for the assembly and testing of quality parts based on pre-determined specifications.
- Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, and sample parts to determine assembly of finished workpieces or sub-assemblies
- Set up and utilize variety of machines and drill presses with bits to drill molded bodies and molded parts
- Trim flash from parts
- Cut cable, wire, and solder various parts
- Fit parts with gauges
- Perform continuity checking, electrical testing, and hipot testing based on training and maintain annual certification for operation of testing equipment
- Scan routers and perform transactions in SAP
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:Basic (Required) Qualifications:- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
- Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Knowledge of various measuring instruments and ability to read blueprints.
- This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). - No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of LaGrange, NC (50 miles) will be considered for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:- Previous experience with Lock Out Tag Out and machine troubleshooting
