Hourly Wage: $17.20DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY To use hand and standard power tools to assemble power wheelchairs to meet order specifications and production standards RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES •Use hand and standard power tools to assemble fabricated parts based on product-specific work instructions •Read and follow electronic work instructions and Food & Drug Administration (FDA) guidelines and be aware of and adhere to all Quality requirements in the build process •Perform tasks in finished product packaging, including but not limited to preparing accessories, wrapping, packaging and preparing products for shipment •Notify Team Leader or management of any parts defects or documentation errors •Adhere to the calibration schedule for all tools used at your assigned workstations •Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management •Attend the Annual C-TPAT Security Training •Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment •Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations •Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times •Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary REQUIRED SKILLS •Must be a friendly team player, detail-oriented, and honest Must have the ability to: •Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment •Safely use hand tools and standard power tools •Read and comprehend work instructions •Be cross-trained for multiple jobs within assigned work area(s) •Operate touch-screen computer monitors and learn the Matrix/ProductionWare system and any other production software as required •Work under general supervision and direction from a Team Leader, Supervisor and/or Manager •Rely on experience and judgment to accomplish daily goals •Use a hydraulic lift, small table lifting device and electronic testing equipment •Lift/Push/Pull 40 lbs •Stand/bend/kneel •Work extended hours, including weekends, as business needs dictate Must have: •Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement •A willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods •Good verbal and written communication skills REQUIRED EXPERIENCE •No experience required PREFERRED EXPERIENCE •At least 1 year of experience using hand or standard power tools assembling fabricated parts preferred •Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred PREFERRED EDUCATION •High School Diploma or GED preferred REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS •Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future DETAILS •This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive •This is a safety sensitive position •In exceptional circumstances, some of the physical requirements of this position may be modified or eliminated as a reasonable accommodation for a person with a disability as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act Pride Mobility Products®/Quantum Rehab® is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
